Australian 100 Marathon Club

The Australian 100 Marathon Club celebrates the accomplishments of a select group of marathon runners who have completed at least 100 marathon races. The commitment to training required to run a single marathon is significant - to continually back up week-after-week and year-after-year is a testament to the dedication of these remarkable people.

The Australian Record for the most marathons completed is 310 and is held by Grahame "Mountain Man" Kerruish. Grahame started running marathons in June 1984 and had completed five marathons by mid-October 1984. For the next 20 years Grahame averaged 15 marathons per year, completing his 100th marathon in August 1992, his 200th marathon in June 1998 and 300th marathon in June 2005.

Any marathon runner who meets the entry criteria for admission as a member of the Australian 100 Marathon Club may apply for membership.

The Club is administered by Bob Fickel - a marathon and ultramarathon runner from Sydney, Australia. Bob holds multiple listings in the All-Time Track Rankings as compiled by the Australian Ultra Runners Association Inc.
